All these images are taken during the summer of 2008 in Suðureyri. Many cod’s weighted from 20–24 kg and the biggest ones weighted 26-27 kg.Robert Schmidt

- I was born in Suðureyri 43 years ago and all my life I have been fishing or hunting in the Wild West fjords. Today I work as a sea fishing guide for www.fisherman.is in Suðureyri. During the fall and Winter I guide hunters for goose and duck hunting in Iceland. For past 15 years I also worked for companies in Iceland importing fly fishing, sea fishing and hunting gear.
